The week runs Monday through Sunday. When Sunday ends and Monday begins, the app shows a "Week Complete" screen with your results. Tap "Start next week" to reset and set a new goal. If you hit 5 or more days that week, your streak grows by one.
I can't check in today — the button isn't working.
You can only check in once per calendar day. If the button appears greyed out with a checkmark, you've already checked in today — that's correct behavior. Come back tomorrow to check in again. If you haven't checked in and the button still won't respond, try closing the app fully and reopening it.
My streak reset even though I completed the week.
Streaks only increment when you tap "Start next week" on the Week Complete screen — they don't update automatically. Make sure you're completing the end-of-week flow rather than starting a new goal directly. If the issue persists, contact us below.
Can I change my goal mid-week?
Yes. On the main screen, tap "Change goal" at the bottom. Your check-in history for the current week stays intact — only the goal text updates. There's no penalty for changing your goal.
Does my data sync across my devices?
No — and that's intentional. One Goal: One Week stores everything locally on your device with no cloud connection. Your goal and streak live only on your iPhone. If you get a new phone, the data won't transfer automatically, but your iCloud device backup may restore it.
I deleted the app and lost my streak.
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. If you had an iCloud backup made before deletion, restoring your device from that backup may recover your streak. Otherwise, unfortunately the data can't be recovered — it was only stored locally.
Does the app send notifications?
Not in the current version. Notifications are planned for a future update. For now, building the habit of opening the app yourself is part of the point — it should feel like a intentional moment, not a ping.
Is the app really free with no subscription?
Yes. One Goal: One Week is completely free with no in-app purchases, no subscription, and no ads. All features are available from the moment you download it.

What grading scales will GPAOne support?
GPAOne will support three grading scales: standard 4.0 (A, B, C, D, F), plus/minus 4.0 (A+, A, A−, B+, etc.), and percentage (0–100). You can switch between scales in settings and it recalculates everything instantly.
